Examination of PTSD, Anxiety, Depression in parents and children with pediatric arterial ischemic stroke (AIS) and association with stroke outcome (PIPS)

The PIPS study is a prospective multi-site IPSS sub-study that investigates the association between emotional outcomes (PTSD, anxiety, and depression) and AIS. The study uses neuropsychological testing to compare with location and size of the stroke.

Participating sites: Alberta Children’s Hospital (A. Kirton), Children’s National Medical Center (P. Pergami), The Hospital for Sick Children (N. Dlamini), St. Louis Children’s Hospital (K. Guilliams), University of California, San Francisco (C. Fox), University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (M. Dowling)
