Parental Emotional Outcomes in Perinatal Stroke (POPS)

The POPS study is a prospective multi-site IPSS sub-study that investigates whether an educational video on perinatal stroke etiology will decrease the emotional burden of guilt and blame and decrease symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and/or depression in the parents of children diagnosed with perinatal stroke.

Participating sites: Alberta Children’s Hospital (A. Kirton), Children’s National Medical Center (P. Pergami), Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (J.M. Taylor), Helen De Vos Children’s Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children (N. Dlamini), Phoenix Children’s Hospital (N. Friedman), St. Louis Children’s Hospital (K. Guilliams), University of California, San Francisco (C. Fox), University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (M. Dowling)
