Description: During this talk, Dr. Tim Bernard presented on developing a pathway for acute stroke in children and developing a stroke team. He also shared information on the background of hyperacute management in pediatric stroke, alerts, initial care/ work ups, medical treatment and checklists. Lastly, he discussed the importance of education, quality improvement and resources to improve acute stroke pathways.
