Some risk factors were identified but the cause is not known.

A Pediatric Neurointerventionalist at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, United States presented a case about a three-year-old, with a middle cerebral artery stroke, extensive cardiac abnormalities and ischemic findings on a CT scan of the head. Thrombectomy was performed.
