Cancellation & Refund Policies
IPSO hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, IPSO knows extenuating circumstances do occur. The IPSO Cancellation and Refund Policies are as follows:
Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy
The IPSO Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and apply to the annual IPSO Conference in Toronto.
Conference registration canceled on or before March 23, 2024, is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.
Registrants canceling on or after March 23, 2023, will NOT receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant’s membership status.
If IPSO must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, IPSO will refund the full registration cost or credit to the next conference.
Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies
Unforeseen circumstances are used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents IPSO from continuing with the conference. Examples of such circumstances can include, but are not limited to, inclement weather or other natural disasters, pandemics, site unavailability, political unrest, etc.
